What was World 2011?

World 2011 was a landmark global classroom metaconference. It invited school children aged 8-18 to design innovations addressing the world’s most pressing problems. Instead of treating young people as mere consumers of digital tools, this initiative engaged them as active creators. Through classrooms worldwide, students brainstormed, built prototypes, and challenged panels of international experts on key areas of information and communications technology (ICT).
